Job Description

  • Establish Plans, implement, coordinate, and assess hospital accident, fire prevention, and occupational safety and health programs under the general direction of hospital officials, utilizing knowledge of industrial safety-related engineering discipline and operating regulations.
  • Develops and recommend new procedures and approaches to safety and loss prevention based on reports of incidents, accidents, and other data gathered from hospital personnel and ensure the staff will act accordingly.
  • Develops and reviews safety training for hospital staff and ensures all the staff being well-trained on a continuous basis
  • Investigate cases that happened in the Hospital that related to his department.
  • Measures and evaluates the effectiveness of the safety program, using established goals.
  • Conducts building and grounds surveys on a periodic and regular basis to detect code violations, hazards, and incorrect work practices and procedures.
  • Maintains administrative control of records related to safety and health training programs
  • Prepares and publishes memos and reports.
  • Maintains required records.
  • Measures and evaluates the effectiveness of the safety program, using established goals.
  • Conducts building and grounds surveys on a periodic and regular basis to detect code violations, hazards, and incorrect work practices and procedures
  • Investigate cases that happened in the Hospital that related to his department.
  • Carry out all the quality management activities and be responsible for the [environment of care committee, Quality and patient safety, Code blue] in order to meet the JCI standard
  • Disseminates information to department heads and others regarding toxic substances, hazards, carcinogens, and other safety information.
  • Assists department heads and administrators in enforcing safety regulations and codes
  • The assists HR department in administering the worker compensation program.
  • Directs and controls all subordinates to ensure that all day-to-day operational matters are handled on time
  • Delegates to and supervise all staff within the department and assist them in preparing work schedules

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Chemistry is a must.
  • At least 6 years of experience.
  • OSHA Certification is a must.
  • Excellent Presentation and Communication skills.
  • Leadership and planning skills.
  • Max age: 40
  • Very Good command of both written and spoken in English.
