Job Description
- Responsible for the day-to-day financial operations, including verifying, allocating,
posting and reconciling all transactions related to general ledger, receivables, payables,
office petty cash, …etc. - Prepare all journal entries and posting operations with the accounting system followed
- Audit all customers and suppliers accounts
- Prepare monthly closing entries for company accounts and support month-end and
year-end closing reports - Keep and maintain all books and filing system of all accounting operations
- Calculate taxes related to financial transactions, deducting them from the supplier and
sending them to the tax authority. - Pays invoices by verifying transaction information; scheduling and preparing
disbursements; obtaining authorization of payment.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of commerce/accounting/finance
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in the same role
- Previous experience with Egyptian tax laws and regulations is preferred
- Fluent in both English and Arabic (verbal and written)
- Audit background if a plus
- CMA or IFRS certified is a plus
