Job Description
- Business development and sales related activities in the country to market the existing logistics assets
- To develop and manage road shows to ensure specific client development
- To collect feedback from market on client needs and service possibilities
- To work with market feedback and central stakeholders to create new revenue streams and implement them end to end
- Collaborate effectively with Jumia Advertising, Jumia Pay and Jumia Ecommerce commercial teams to effectively use JS services with Client ecosystem in country
- To support Country CEO with effective documentation and research needed to close negotiations and deals with clients
- To ensure the pricing is always generating profitable revenue
- To ensure the pricing is always signed by Central coordinator
Job Requirements
- An analytic or management degree from a top university
- Proficient in Microsoft Office – Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Email, Internet etc.
- Proficient in Google Office Suite – Google Drive, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Gmail, etc.
- Minimum 3 years-total experience in logistics or operations organization
- Experience working on sales / Business development role in retail/ Banking or logistics organization
- Ability to follow-up on tasks to be done on time.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent Communication skills and ability to communicate with different teams on a daily basis
- Must be willing to work with and learn new technologies
