Job Description

  • Business development and sales related activities in the country to market the existing logistics assets
  • To develop and manage road shows to ensure specific client development 
  • To collect feedback from market on client needs and service possibilities 
  • To work with market feedback and central stakeholders to create new revenue streams and implement them end to end
  •  Collaborate effectively with Jumia Advertising, Jumia Pay and Jumia Ecommerce commercial teams to effectively use JS services with Client ecosystem in country
  •  To support Country CEO with effective documentation and research needed to close negotiations and deals with clients
  • To ensure the pricing is always generating profitable revenue
  •  To ensure the pricing is always signed by Central coordinator

Job Requirements

  • An analytic or management degree from a top university 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office – Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Email, Internet etc. 
  • Proficient in Google Office Suite – Google Drive, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Gmail, etc. 
  •  Minimum 3 years-total experience in logistics or operations organization
  • Experience working on sales / Business development role in retail/ Banking or logistics organization
  • Ability to follow-up on tasks to be done on time.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Excellent Communication skills and ability to communicate with different teams on a daily basis 
  • Must be willing to work with and learn new technologies
