Job Description

Summary:

Project Coordinator provides the consistency needed to see projects through from start to finish  with a mixture of technical & business knowledge . He/She oversees the product and services being produced successfully.

Roles &Responsibilities:
• Handle the main role in initiation, planning, executing, managing, controlling and closing projects
• Handle project kickoffs (entry) and lessons learnt (exit) of each module/project
• Coordinate internal resources and vendors for the flawless execution of projects
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and in high quality
• coordinate people and processes to ensure that our projects are delivered on time and produce the desired results
• Act as the go-to person for everything involving a project’s organization and timeline
• Develop and update detailed project plans
• Developing project scopes, objectives and deliverables, cooperating with product owners and project team
• Track and communicate projects status and progress
• Present regular project status updates to executive management
• Ensure that checklists are performed and validated
• Organize project documentations
• Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, and schedule
• Break projects into doable actions and set timeframes
• Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants
• Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests
• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
• Report and escalate to management as needed
• Manage the relationship with all stakeholders
• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors/partners
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, and project templates
• Set up and track projects milestones
• Develop and maintain projects schedules
• Publish projects performance KPIs on shared dashboard
• Maintain projects Communications plan, Escalation matrix, Assumptions, Out of scope sections
• Work with management team to define and agree on master acceptance criteria for projects
• Use Microsoft project or equivalent tool to maintain and update project schedules
• Perform daily follow-up with all relevant stakeholders to track and monitor progress
• Setup a system to track and manage issues, change requests (CRs)
• Identifies and resolves issues and conflicts within the project team
• Follow-up on project status and modify plans to mitigate risk and ensure success
• Track dependencies and alert team of issues or conflicting external dependencies
• Proactively manages changes in project scope, identifies issues, and devises contingency plans
• perform project reports, give presentations, initiate and run meetings
• Publishes daily/weekly status reports that provides project progress reports to project team and stakeholders
• Partners with business managers to define success metrics and criteria
• Evaluates trade-offs between project size and complexity, cost, urgency, risk, and stakeholder value

Job Requirements

  •  A bachelor's degree
  •  PMP certification is a plus
