Job Description

Job Responsibilities: 

1. Provide advice to the company on health, safety and environmental issues.

2. Track performance and ensure site activities and inspections comply fully with HSE of company’s policy.

3. Create and distribute monthly, quarterly and annually reports to all senior managers (e.g. safety statistics, KPI’s, Near Misses, accident investigations & Inspections).

4. Carry out inspection daily monitoring.

5. Assist the company in undertaking risk assessments and identifying safe systems of work to be recorded in safe work method statements.

6. Assist sub-contractor and advices for safe procedure.

7. Ensure statistics are maintained on site regarding accidents, injuries, man-hours, lost time and risk assessments.

8. Conducted new employee orientation, fire watch training, confined space training and any other training specific to the needs of the sites.

9. Conducted pre-job briefings (T.B.T) for all work evolutions regarding work environment conditions and safety requirements.

10. Conducts observations and audits of the site work environments, personal protective equipment, mobile equipment, tools and other types of equipment to Arrange and organize safety promotion activities.

11. Carry out the registers which should be maintained for lifting equipment, lifting accessories and other type of equipment in site.

12. Advise on the requirements for site welfare and carry out regular 

13. inspections of the Facilities, reporting any concerns to Arrange and organize safety roles promotion

Job Requirements

•   HSE specialist certified from the Egyptian National institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) - Egypt.

•   NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Health and safety (IGC 1, 2 & 3).

•   OSHA General Industry Safety & Health Certified (29 CFR 1910) from OSHA - USA

•   OSHA Construction Industry Safety & Health Certified (29 CFR 1926) from OSHA-USA

•   Managing safely from Institution of Occupational Safety and Health IOSH "- UK

•   Basic first aider training.

•   Basic firefighting training.
