Job Description

Major responsibilities will be:

  • To ensure that the administration of contracts by projects is carried out in accordance with the company policies and procedures.
  • Preparing contractual correspondence in English and Arabic.
  • Maintain contractual records and documentation of all contract correspondence, customer contact information, contractual changes, and status reports
  • Collaborating with client and Consultant teams to manage the delivery of project deliverables and objectives, including program performance, cost control, and value engineering.
  • Managing contract change effectively, ensuring that projects remain within governance, and adopt best practices.
  • Provide support on all aspects of Commercial Management to the Project team as may be required.
  • Preparing and following up on the company’s different claims in different projects
  • Drafting different types of contracts, with a good awareness of risk allocation.

During Tender

  • Support in preparing contract review report.

During Constructions 

  • Reviews contractual variations before submitting to management approval.
  • Assist in the preparation of expert claim report.
  • Support in preparing claims relating to EOT, Delay & Disruption, and Defective Performance.
  • Monitors incoming Claimant correspondence and preparation/review and approval of responses and outgoing correspondence to Claimant.
  • Assist in preparing claims and extension of time requests arising during construction phase.
  • Identifies claims and preparing complete claim submittal, filing claims.
  • Support in reviewing client invoices prior to submission
  • Attend Progress meetings arranged and held with the Owner.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering is a MUST
  • Previous experience in a construction company.
  • Strong working knowledge of administering FIDIC and other similar contract formulation standards
  • Proven track record with recognized international standard contracting companies
  • Good communication skills and strong English capability
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in contract administration and quantity survey functions for contracting industry operations
