Job Description

  • Implementing systems and procedures and enforcing internal controls.
  • Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger,  Zakat and taxes.
  • Responsible for delivering timely and accurate daily and weekly financial processing, month-end close, financial reports.
  • Maintains an organized set of detailed records and files to document financial transactions.
  • Manage the accounting team and encourage and guide them in order to make their performance more effective and to enhance their self-perception and problem-solving skills.
  • Work with all departments to ensure timely billing and cash receipt processing.
  • Confirms financial status by monitoring revenue and expenses; coordinating the collection, and evaluation of financial data; preparing special reports.
  • Make sure that transactions are correct and mitigate any risk.
  • Make sure that the Trial Balance is well reflecting the position of the company.
  • Prepare Financial Statement.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with at least 4 years’ relevant experience in Travel and Tourism accounting.
  • Excellent English and Arabic – reading & writing.
  • Previous experience as an Accounting &  Financial Manager.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used.
  • Experience with TRAACS system is preferred.
