Job Description
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
- Conduct regular inspections and tests on materials, processes, and finished products to identify defects or deviations from quality standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to address quality-related issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare detailed quality reports, documentation, and records for internal and external audits.
- Monitor and analyze quality performance data to identify trends, root causes, and areas for continuous improvement.
- Ensure all construction activities adhere to safety and regulatory requirements.
- Train and mentor site staff and subcontractors on quality standards and best practices.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to verify the quality of incoming materials and components.
- Participate in project meetings to provide input on quality matters and support project delivery timelines.
- Assist in the development and review of project-specific quality plans and inspection test plans.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 7 to 12 years of proven experience in quality control within the construction or real estate industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, standards, and best practices.
- Familiarity with relevant industry codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and blueprints.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Proficiency in using quality management software and MS Office applications.
- Ability to work on-site and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
