Job Description
Job Purpose:
Responsible for the BG process, across multiple types of BG, from drafting to issuance as well as extensions and timely return.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Liaise with the sales teams for any BG requirements and to agree the format with customers based on the Groups agreed wording;
- Ensure that BG’s are issued as per the contract and using the suitable BG type with no overlaps with other BG’s issued;
- Understand when different BG’s are issued, including Tender/bid bonds, advance payment, custom and performance guarantees;
- Work with suitable banks on the issuance of BG’s using electronic portals where possible and adhering to facility headroom;
- Monitor BG maturities for timely extension and cancellations;
- Maintain all BG’s in the TMS ensuring correct data is reflected daily.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
- 1 - 3 Years of Experience with fair knowledge about Trade Finance, LCs and BGs… etc.
- English language proficiency B2 - C1 - Fluency is a must
