Trade Finance Coordinator

Job Purpose:

Responsible for the BG process, across multiple types of BG, from drafting to issuance as well as extensions and timely return.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Liaise with the sales teams for any BG requirements and to agree the format with customers based on the Groups agreed wording;
• Ensure that BG’s are issued as per the contract and using the suitable BG type with no overlaps with other BG’s issued;
• Understand when different BG’s are issued, including Tender/bid bonds, advance payment, custom and performance guarantees;
• Work with suitable banks on the issuance of BG’s using electronic portals where possible and adhering to facility headroom;
• Monitor BG maturities for timely extension and cancellations;
• Maintain all BG’s in the TMS ensuring correct data is reflected daily.
