Job Description
- Oversee daily operations of the production floor, ensuring adherence to quality standards and production schedules.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the production team to achieve optimal performance and maintain high morale.
- Implement and monitor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality control checklists across all production stages, including cutting, edge banding, CNC drilling, assembly, and final inspection.
- Coordinate with planning, design, and engineering teams to ensure seamless execution of client specifications and approved shop drawings.
- Manage resource allocation, including materials, machinery, and manpower, to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on process optimization, waste reduction, and cost control.
- Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the production facility.
- Utilize ERP systems for production planning, traceability, and reporting, ensuring accurate documentation and inventory management.
- Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely sourcing and delivery of premium materials and hardware.
- Address and resolve production issues promptly, maintaining consistent lead times and supporting after-sales service requirements.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a production management or manufacturing operations role, preferably within the furniture or woodworking industry.
- Proven track record of managing and developing production teams in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.
- Strong understanding of industrial-grade machinery, production workflows, and quality assurance practices.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems for production planning and traceability.
- Demonstrated ability to implement and enforce SOPs and QC checklists.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working cross-functionally with design, engineering, and logistics teams.
