Job Description

  • Oversee daily operations of the production floor, ensuring adherence to quality standards and production schedules.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the production team to achieve optimal performance and maintain high morale.
  • Implement and monitor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality control checklists across all production stages, including cutting, edge banding, CNC drilling, assembly, and final inspection.
  • Coordinate with planning, design, and engineering teams to ensure seamless execution of client specifications and approved shop drawings.
  • Manage resource allocation, including materials, machinery, and manpower, to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on process optimization, waste reduction, and cost control.
  • Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the production facility.
  • Utilize ERP systems for production planning, traceability, and reporting, ensuring accurate documentation and inventory management.
  • Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely sourcing and delivery of premium materials and hardware.
  • Address and resolve production issues promptly, maintaining consistent lead times and supporting after-sales service requirements.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a production management or manufacturing operations role, preferably within the furniture or woodworking industry.
  • Proven track record of managing and developing production teams in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.
  • Strong understanding of industrial-grade machinery, production workflows, and quality assurance practices.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems for production planning and traceability.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement and enforce SOPs and QC checklists.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working cross-functionally with design, engineering, and logistics teams.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant workplace.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and client requirements.
