Job Description

Branding & Other income strategy

  • Plan and develop other income (sponsorship) projects in line with built strategy and target deliverable.

Brand Strategy and Effectiveness

  • Manage the brand positioning, ideas to branding plans and brand support activities, using brand tracking and/or performance analysis to inform future brand activities.

Marketing Impact Assessment

  • Support the collection of data and participate in reviews of marketing activities to identify opportunities for improvements.

Reports & Analysis

  • Monitor the other income report, success criteria, and outcome as well as approve reports to measure success and progress of projects.

Contracts & Data Selling

  • Plan and approve the negotiation strategy with vendors for the Data Exchange.
  • Managing the contracts and agreements with current and new vendors
  • Monitor Commercial Other Income & Rebate from trading agreements with vendors to make sure that we are on track with contracted amounts.

In-store Advertising & Sampling

  • Define and deliver products and services that meet customer needs by selecting the best possible approaches available within established systems.

Project, Program and Portfolio Management

  • Plan and deliver small projects or work streams using an appropriate project management methodology to give assurance that intended outcomes are achieved.

Product & Solution Development

  • Monitor all aspects of a product life cycle, including long- and short-term development and marketing. Perform analyses to stay abreast of trends in the marketplace to ensure the product's competitive position.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Contribute to stakeholder engagement through identifying stakeholders, finding out their needs/issues/concern and reacting to these by arranging meetings and events and drafting supporting materials to promote understanding and commitment.

Budgeting

  • Develop and/or deliver budget plans with guidance from senior colleagues.

Organizational Capability Building

  • Provide instruction and informal advice to less experienced colleagues within the team to develop their skills.

Marketing activity development

  • Signs off the marketing campaigns / Leaflet, ensuring the designs, promotions and messages meet the event objectives procedures.

Marketing Plan

  • Assist the Marketing manager in evaluating and establishing the marketing plan and strategy by assembling and analyzing sales and customer count forecasts, setting objectives, planning and organizing promotional presentations, and updating calendars.

Other Tasks

  • Manage the team responsible for communication with the operation support regarding the sampling/branding event and make sure they are aware of all details related to the event.
  • Manage the team responsible for communication with Decorations for alignment and action if needed.
  • Monitor and audit the events and ensure they are conducted as per policy and agreed procedures.

Job Requirements

Education

  • University degree in Marketing or related field.

Experience, Skills & Competencies skills.

  • Over 5 to 10 years experience preferably in the retail or FMCG industry.
  • Post-graduate education is preferable, holding an MBA is a plus.
  • Strong leadership and excellent communication.
  • Variable; differing situations requiring the identification and selection of solutions through the application of acquired knowledge.
  • Thinking within broad company policies, principles, and objectives, under general direction. (Based on Job Size).
