General Information
The content management specialist is a professional who is in charge of various content-related responsibilities in Caduceus Lane. The content development department is responsible for all the linguistic solutions provided by the company. Therefore, such a department collaborates with many stakeholders across multiple departments to ensure that the quality of all written content meets its benchmark.
Content management specialists are mainly divided into three types of stakeholders: Content Writers, Content Editors, and Translators.
Job Summary
As part of the Caduceus Lane fabric, a content management French specialist is expected to perform his daily tasks that are related to content creation, editing, and translation accordingly, supporting other stakeholders across multiple departments, such as Medical Department, Marketing Department, and Account and Project Managers.
Responsibilities of Translators & Editors:
- Translating various types of content between English, French, and Arabic
- Communicating effectively with Account Managers to receive concise briefs for each task to proceed accordingly with the translation
- Providing any translation-related support to stakeholders from other departments and teams
- Revising, proofreading, and enhancing the text after its translation to the target language to ensure the linguistic quality of the outcome
- Researching thoroughly for information and data about pharmaceutical products and diseases to implement the correct terms in the outcome
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in literature, a relevant scientific field, or translation and linguistic studies
- A high level of linguistic capabilities in English, Arabic, and French is a MUST
- Great capabilities in identifying linguistic errors and handling Post-Translation Editing (PTE) tasks
- Demonstrated capability to manage translation tasks via Computer-Assisted Translation (CAT) tools
- Ability to understand both pragmatics and semantics
- Previous experience in translating scientific content is preferred
- 0–2 years of experience
