Job Description
- Review mechanical (Design - shop) drawings and calculations.
- Study the tender documents (specifications, drawings, BOQ, method of measurements and contracts).
- Review the technical offers to ensure that they comply with the project specs and compare between the financial offers and cost sheets.
- Review material submittals, shop drawings, RFI’s, etc.
- Assist site mechanical engineers in solve technical problems projects.
- Attend meetings with design consultant, contractors, and suppliers.
- Responsible for regularly updating vendor list of manufacturers and suppliers.
- Responsible for reviewing structure and MEP drawings and technical coordination between all trades.
- Review schematic designs of new projects received from the design consultant to verify their compliance with local building codes and regulations.
- Obtaining the technical and financial offers for all mechanical items.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree of Mechanical Engineering
- 6-8 Years of relevant professional, preferred MEP experience.
- Experience in Revit & BIM is a must.
- In addition to some experience in site supervision
- Technical Office skills like design review, technical evaluation for materials, value engineering & shop drawings review .
- Ability to lead, coordinate, and manage a large, complex team from multiple organizations.
- Residential, commercial and office building electrical works
- General & detailed knowledge about all Electrical works
- National/international codes and specs awareness
