Job Description

  • Searching and discovering market opportunities, prospecting promising clients, and communicating to arrange for meeting with decision-makers.
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
  • Collect all necessary information to evaluate the target customers’ requirements including application technical information, current challenges facing the customer, current supplier from the competition, and customer’s financial situation.
  • Conducting periodic solo visits and combined visits with field engineers to existing customers and ensure optimum customer service, enhance customer satisfaction and explore opportunities to expand the business.
  • Provides up-to-date market information such as competition information (products, prices, services, new technology, etc…), new business opportunities, threats to existing company’s business, etc…
  • Reach out to customer leads through calls, and survey.
  • Negotiating tender and contract terms.
  • Close sales deal successfully through effective negotiation and close follow-up to translate customers’ inquiries into purchase orders.
  • Closely follow up customers’ payment and collection activities to ensure prompt customer payment and reduce the company’s credit amounts.
  • Promptly and accurately conveying customer complaints to the company for investigation and taking the necessary action.
  • Administering customer accounts.
  • Recording and maintaining customer contact data.
  • Supporting marketing by attending trade shows, conferences, and other marketing.
  • Offering after-sales support services, providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education.
  • Liaising with other members of the sales team and other technical experts.
  • Seek continuous improvement initiatives, and development of Best Practices within the sales team
  • Be prepared to attend customer kick-off meetings as and when required.
  • Discuss proposed meetings with sales team to ensure targets are focused and information is shared prior to the meetings.
  • Conduct technical sales presentations to customers as and when necessary showing how our products meet their needs.
  • Document key findings, progress, insights, and pipeline velocity in CRM.
  • Meeting Key Performance Indicators
  • Use your technical acumen to provide solution-based sales.
  • Thrive on identifying new opportunities and working through the sales process to close new revenue.
  • Enjoy rolling your sleeves up and getting involved in trials at end-users.
  • Provide appropriate and timely reporting of activity and achievements to various levels of management, as required

Job Requirements

  • A University degree in Industrial/Mechanical/ Chemical Engineering is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Strong Marketing Skills.
  • Sales process acumen with relevant work experience includes sales hunting, account management, sales consultant, or related experience with documented performance levels meeting or exceeding sales plans.
  • Creativity & Innovation, analytical thinking, and problem-solving.
  • Excellent command of English both written and spoken.
  • Effective demonstration and presentation techniques.
  • Customer service orientated, motivated, honest and results-driven.
  • Negotiation skills
  • Ability to build rapport
  • Proven competence with Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and a CRM,
  • Clear, concise, and confident communicator (verbal, non-verbal, written), including effectively altering vocal tone/inflection, listening, and writing relevant and engaging content.
  • Adaptable improviser with an ability to work off-script when executing new approaches or responding to unforeseen obstacles.
  • Willingness to travel
  • Having a car is a must
