Job Description
- Preparation of highway design solutions for major civil engineering works at preliminary, tender, and detailed design stages
- Developing horizontal & vertical alignments, drainage plans, construction staging/traffic control plans, signing & pavement marking plans, sub-consultant coordination, and preparation of right-of-way plans for various project types and clients.
- Interpreting survey results into technical drawings.
- Co-ordination with other project related departments and site.
- Review / develop construction specifications.
- Preparing technical proposal via google earth pro, Expert GPS and global mapper.
- Establishing working relationships and interfacing with client technical staff and project managers
- Participating in project decisions regarding technical approaches, cost and schedule performance
- Reviews submissions, prepares reports, cost estimates, specifications and tabulation of quantities
- Coordinates utility conflicts, relocation and communicates all aspects of design that may directly or indirectly affect the project
Job Requirements
- Education: B.Sc. of Civil Engineering/ higher studies are weighted.
- Experience: +5 years of solid experience in Design activities
- Software: AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar type software, ability to use conventional design software, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Languages: Fluent English language.
- The excellent French language is highly
