Job Description
- Oversee the operation of the day nursery to the highest standards, ensuring that the best possible environment and care are provided for young children.
- Management, supervision and appraisal of the Educational & Operational supervisors and all staff.
- Overseeing the day-to-day management, staffing, organization and smooth running of the Nursery.
- To be a member of the management team and to contribute to the strategic planning, monitoring, evaluation and development of the Nursery.
- To ensure the Early Years Foundation Stage is promoted and delivered within the setting and the principles adhered to.
- Creating the KPI’s for the staff with SMART objectives & carry-out regular appraisal to improve staff performance.
- Handling parents’ complains professionally without affecting the nursery’s reputation negatively.
- Playing a key role in planning and monitoring of the Nursery and implementing essential policies and procedures.
- Supporting and developing the Nursery team through on-going training and evaluation.
- Managing the Nursery’s budget.
- Creating management reports, and maintaining staff and child records.
Job Requirements
- The applicant must have previous experience in the same field.
- Communication Skills, Problem Solving & Leadership.
- Fluent English is essential
