Job Responsibilities:
- Improving software by identifying opportunities for improvement, making recommendations and designing and implementing systems.
- Maintaining and improving existing codebases and peer review code changes.
- Liaising with colleagues to implement technical designs.
- Investigating, researching and using new technologies where relevant.
- Providing written knowledge transfer material.
- Documenting and maintaining software functionality.
- Improving software based on evaluating user feedback.
Job Requirements
Job Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Software Engineer or Software Developer.
- A passion for solving problems and providing workable solutions.
- Strong analytical and reasoning skills with an ability to visualise processes and outcomes.
- Excellent knowledge of OOP, data structures and algorithms.
- Excellent knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases. Especially Postgres and Neo4j.
- Experience developing web applications using Flask, knowledge of Frontend frameworks is a huge plus. Especially Angular or React.
- Familiar with Git, Docker and AWS.
- Familiar with project management tools. Especially Jira and Confluence.
- Ability to document requirements and specifications.
