Job Description
- Serves as a technical expert
- Design, organize, and modify the company systems.
- Responsible for the designing, installation, configuration and documentation of new and existing software and systems in the company systems.
- Responsible for monitoring system performance and operations
- Plans ahead for necessary hardware or software upgrades to support system growth.
- Evaluates company systems to ensure they are operating effectively.
- Secures and tunes Linux OS in different production environments for best achievable performance.
- Updates and patches servers with centralized methods.
- Reports to the IT Director, providing the needed information about the system, its status, recommendations for better performance and enhancement of system components.
- Maintains system efficiency.
Job Requirements
- Advanced Systems & software troubleshooting skills
- Experience in Linux administration
- Experience in dealing with MySQL
- Knowledge of virtualization
- Hands-on experience with cloud computing ( preferably AWS & Azure )
- knowledge of Mail servers and Name servers
- Experience in shell scripting
- Knowledge of Apache administration
- Knowledge of “reverse proxy”
- Knowledge of DevOps process and tools.
