UI/UX Designer

• At Knack, our mission is to help companies build a happier, engaged and productive workforce. We do that by enabling companies to run personalized coaching and mentoring programs to develop their employees, drive engagement and build a learning-culture.
• We're an early-stage startup based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and looking for a purpose-driven, intiative, and creative UX/UI designer, who will work closely with the founding team to take our product to the next level and solve big user problems. As such, you will be integral in delivering value to all stakeholders involved in a SaaS company.
• It's essential to us that you build a passion and genuine interest in our vision and brand.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be responsible for designing a user-friendly, beautiful and simple web application using agile and lean methods. These responsibilities include:

• Work closely with the founding team to understand and solidify our product vision and strategy
• Collect and examine the needs of our users through user research, surveys, other.
• Consult our engineering team and product designers regarding the product.
• Plan and develop new visual designs for computers, smartphones, and digital products.
• Use sitemaps, process flowcharts, and storyboards for illustration and depiction of designs.
• Design user interfaces elements mainly pages, menus, widgets, tabs, etc.
• Illustrate the functions of the website and develop UI mockups and prototypes.
• Create charts, tables, sketches, filters, images, and other websites/applications graphic designs.
• Review and edit the mockups according to the client's feedback.
• Follow the client’s instructions concerning style, color schemes, and fonts, etc.
• Monitor and manage the previously developed systems.
• Conduct user tests of developed applications to evaluate user experience.
• Stay updated with information on the latest UI trends and design skills.
