Job description – Sales Expert

Job Summary

In the Modern Trade channel and retail fast-paced environment, Sales Expert would passionately deliver exceptional consumer experience, provide support and education to Consumers about company’s products. Beyond Consumers interaction, the Sales Expert is also expected to monitor store housekeeping and complete tasks to ensure the stores are always impeccably presented and Consumers ready. Sales Experts work collaboratively with each other and assisting others where required, fostering a fun and creative working environment.

Reports to: Specialist experiential touchpointsLocation: Direct / Indirect (Consumer Touchpoints)
  • Primary responsibility:
    • Deliver end-to-end exceptional and unique consumer experience.
  • Product Knowledge:
    • Ensure excellent product knowledge pertaining to the product by familiarizing yourself with the company’s vision, knowing all the benefits of the product and understanding the basic science and technical aspect of the product.
  • Sales:
    • Transition from offering product knowledge to sales of the product to Consumers.
    • Adhere to KPIs and sales targets to redeem incentives.
    • Ensure all correct invoicing is provided to consumers on purchase.
  • Product Trial:
    • Encourage product trials for Consumers by conducting a guided trial to take them through each step of the journey.
    • Ensure the guided trial is conducted smoothly and without rush in order to leave the legal age smoker with a memorable experience on both ends (Product & journey).
    • Understand consumers’ objections and pain points and answer them with the right message.
  • Interactions:
    • Conduct 1-2-1 or 1-2-Many interactions and guided trials with consumers Ensure the correct techniques are applied to give each consumer the best experience.
    • Utilize the toolbox provided to ensure the best possible interaction. In alignment with the Sales Expert Supervisor, provide timely feedback on overall interactions and come up new ways of working to further enhance the consumer experience.
  • Systems Knowledge:
    • Master the IT tools that you will use in order to assist your interaction. Ensure all inputted fields are done correctly and accurately.
    • Provide feedback to relevant stakeholders on the systems when relevant.
  • Customer Care:
    • Understand the customer care process in order to equip the consumer with the relevant knowledge and contact details when they require assistance post purchase.
    • Understand the warranty and subscription policies in order to best inform the consumer.
    • Build relationships with your consumers to assist them through their conversion journey.

 

Other responsibilities:

  • Welcome consumers in-store, understand their needs, offer guidance and assist with discovery of company’s products.
  • Educate consumer about the products and the benefits.
  • Transition from offering product knowledge to sales to Consumers
  • Provide exceptional customer service experience.
  • Understand consumers’ pain points and handle them with the right product feature and benefit.
  • Ensure delivery of set KPIs (e.g. NPS).
 
 

Job Requirements

Requirements

Mandatory:

  • Egyptian nationality / Resident.
  • University graduates.
  • Military exempted/ served (Male applicants)
  • At least 2-3 years of proven sales, customer experience, retail, hospitality, F&B
  • Willing to work in shift basis (AM and PM, weekends).
  • Computer / iPad literacy.

Languages:

  • Mother tongue: Arabic
  • Fluent in English (written & spoken)
