Job Description
- Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, and design professionals to discuss and resolve matters, such as work procedures, complaints, or electrical and mechanical implementation problems.
- Plan, schedule, or coordinate MEP project activities and allocate resources to meet deadlines.
- Set up and maintain cost monitoring and reporting systems and procedures to ensure reduction of waste and saving of resources.
- Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, and cost tracking reports.
- Inspect or review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety standards and codes, and other regulations.
- Plan, organize, or direct activities concerned with the MEP engineering and construction.
- Investigate damage, accidents, or delays at construction sites to ensure that proper construction procedures are being followed.
- Monitor performance of contracts or negotiate revisions to contractual agreements with consultants, clients, suppliers, or subcontractors.
- Initiate change requests when necessary in response to customer requests.
- Prepare proposals and drawings, and study inventory availability to meet customer requests.
- Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to representatives of the owner or developer, including administrative staff, workers, or clients.
- Request supplies or materials to complete MEP projects promptly.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus.
- 20 years of experience in MEP technical office or MEP implementation.
- Available to work outside Cairo
