Job Description
The Business Analysis officer, is a member of the planning sector team, helps guide businesses in improving processes, products, services and software through data analysis. He /She uses data analytics to assess processes, determine requirements and deliver data-driven recommendations and reports to executives and stakeholders. They must articulate those ideas but also balance them against what’s technologically feasible and financially and functionally reasonable.
Responsibilities:
- Create a detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities and solutions for a business
- Develop smart and insightful dashboards and reports, tracking performance across channels to promote data-driven decision-making and optimize conversion;
- Presents data in charts, graphs, tables, designing and developing relational databases for collecting data and building or designing data input or data collection screens;
- Provides deep-dive analyses, generates insights and handles ad-hoc queries on a broad range of questions, (e.g. to define business strategies, specify product offerings, campaign performance, customer profiling, data quality investigations, testing);
- Monitor progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions
- Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends
- Perform daily, weekly and monthly reviews and analyses of current processes using operational metrics and reports
- Create informative, actionable and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study
- 3- 5 years of experience in similar position
- Analytical thinking and problem solving
- Excellent critical-thinking skills with ability to structure and solve complex business problems
- Ability to clearly articulate ideas, both written and oral, to internal and external audiences Interpersonal and consultative skills
- Strong work-ethic with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines
- Being detail-oriented and capable of delivering a high level of accuracy
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
