Job Description
We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) engineer to develop and execute manual and automated tests to ensure product quality. Automation experience is a core requirement for this position Primary objective would be to get involved in testing activities from Product requirement reviews to User Acceptance phases and co-ordinate with all stakeholders namely development and product teams. Ultimately, this position requires monitoring all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions to meet quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Work with development teams to create and write automated scripts to perform repeatable tasks
- Provide technical guidance to junior team members and lead the team if required
- Enhance automation framework to support various QA activities
- Automate using in-house developed Python/Django framework
- Collaborate development and Product teams during creation of new features and test plans
- Provide valuable feedback during product design and development phase
- Perform testing activities to help measure product quality including execution of test cases
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems in software code encountered by customers or technical support
- Perform integration testing and figure out dependencies
- Drive, plan and track production deployments for new features/fixes
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer engineering or a related field
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of work experience in manual testing
- Proficiency in Python programming and Django knowledge is an added plus
- Experience in Automated Testing using Robot framework
- Good knowledge of operation systems and web-based technologies like REST
- Basic understanding of Advertising domain is desirable
- Self-starter and should be able to work with minimal supervision
- Experience in product based development would be a plus
