Job Description

Develops maintenance and spare parts plans for new or existing equipment.

▪ Works in collaboration with the Maintenance Center Manager to develop a monthly and routine maintenance plan.

▪ Monitors implementation of maintenance plans and activities for all aspects of equipment to ensure optimal physical and financial performance.

▪ Communicates the impact of maintenance schedule delays to the Maintenance Center Manager to take corrective action.

▪ Monitors the inventory of spare parts and cooperates with the Procurement team to identify the spare parts needed to execute the routine and corrective maintenance plan on time.

▪ Analyzes equipment downtime and failure data to optimize planned maintenance frequencies and activities.

▪ Updates system asset records to reflect additions, replacements, or changes of spare parts.

▪ Develops and monitors metrics for maintenance performance, asset reliability, and costs.

▪ Collects feedback from the stakeholders to improve maintenance plans and performance metrics.

▪ Develops and maintains monthly maintenance performance status reports and benchmarks results with industry standards.

▪ Works with the Maintenance Center Manager to establish optimal maintenance technician resource levels to optimize resource capacity for the highest levels of efficiency and productivity.

▪ Tracks monthly equipment maintenance costs and assigns expenditures to the relevant cost center.

▪ Supports and enhance the implementation of technological development in the maintenance center

 

 

Job Requirements

  •  Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/Industrial Engineering.
  •  A minimum of 5-7 years relevant experience, preferably experience in heavy industries maintenance planning.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of maintenance planning processes and principles.
  • Strong practical experience in planning and scheduling software/tools.
  • Hands-on experience in using ERP (Maintenance module).
  • Proven Knowledge and experience utilizing work management processes to plan and schedule maintenance activities.
  • Good command of English (Reading, writing, and speaking).
