Job Description
- Must have experience in the agriculture field.
- supervise the preparation of financial statements, reports, forecasts, and budgets to ensure data accuracy.
- Ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of financial controls, policies, and procedures, and improve them to ensure tight control.
- Oversee general accounting, payables, receivables, and financial systems to ensure data accuracy and procedures.
- Analyze financial performance against budgets and performance indicators to ensure financial improvement.
- Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results, and the company's actual performance compared to business plans.
- Supervise tax compliance and financial legal regulations and requirements to avoid penalties.
- Lead, direct, and provide technical support to the team to ensure performance enhancement and provide performance evaluations for the management team.
- Oversee the monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual closing processes to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the submitted data.
- Participate in developing financial goals, assist in decision-making, work on revenue enhancement for the sector, monitor expenses, and manage customer accounts.
- Review disbursement documents and ensure they comply with approved regulations and procedures to protect the company's funds.
- Follow up on payment deadlines to ensure no penalties are incurred by the company.
- Conduct reviews and assessments of cost reduction opportunities.
- Supervise and review all sector revenues and expenses to preserve company funds and ensure they are used according to approved regulations and procedures.
- Develop operational plans for financial management tasks and oversee their execution according to agreed-upon timelines.
- Communicate with various other departments, discuss company plans, and agree on future paths to be taken.
- Perform any other tasks assigned related to his work to achieve objectives.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce.
- Preferably holds (CMA-IFRS-MBA).
- At least 8 years of experience in financial management preferably in the agriculture field.
- Experience in the financial sector with potential previous roles such as Financial Analyst.
- Extensive understanding of financial trends within the company and general market patterns.
- Proficient user of financial software.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage, direct, and lead staff to ensure the use of appropriate financial processes.
- Strong understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
- Practical knowledge of all legal regulations and legislation.
