Vacancy :

We are currently seeking to hire a professional-caliber as Inventory Controller as per the following details:

  • Location : Manufacturing Facility - 3rd Settlement - New Cairo
  • Reporting: Finance Manager
  • Grade: IC01/IC03

Job Description

Purpose:

To manage the inflow and outflow of products through the organization ensuring that inventory processes are carried out in a timely manner maintaining inventory levels, making monthly inventory reports, recording and labeling inventory items to be used in the future and maintaining accurate records

A.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring inventory levels and replenishing stock as needed
  • Developing and implementing inventory control systems and practices
  • Liaising and negotiating with vendors and suppliers to ensure the quality of stock purchases
  • Coordinating the logistics of purchase orders, stock transfers, deliveries, tagging, and processing.
  • Forecasting supply and demand requirements to ensure stock availability.
  • Tracking inbound and outbound orders to prevent overstocking and out-of-stock
  • Analyzing and reviewing supply chain data to identify and resolve issues.
  • Generating purchase and pricing reports, supply chain analysis, and inventory management systems
  • Performing regular stock checks and reporting any issues to the Line Manager as appropriate
  • Maintaining and updating records of purchase orders, pricing reports, and inventory records
  • Administration of the inventory-tracking database
  • Collaborate with Materials Management department in set-up and replenishment of emergency stock areas
  • Collaborating with Purchasing and/or Accounting Departments to resolve problems
  • Coordinating returns, reconciliations, and inventory of full site
  • Ensuring accuracy of stock information in a warehouse management system
  • Raw material control, analysis, and reporting
  • Investigation of discrepancies to the final solution of any issue
  • Ensuring all processes for inventory replenishment are followed correctly
  • Proactively solve inventory problems and provide timely resolution to ensure minimal impact to customer and business processes

  • Solid understanding of Oracle as an ERP system
  • Previous inventory control experience gained in a Distribution Centre
  • Hands-on experience with warehouse management systems
  • Professional MS Office skills
  • The ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong multitasking capabilities

C. Education Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field

D.Competencies and Behaviors:

  • Knowledge and competence in Inventory control
  • Strong computer literacy skills, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel
  • Successful experience with warehousing systems
  • Strong analytical and decision-making ability
  • High work ethic and standard of accountability and responsibility
  • Indispensable organization and discipline
  • Problem-solving ability
  • Excellent written and verbal skills in English
  • Track record of achievements in previous roles with an unmatched sense of urgency
  • Ability to foresee upcoming challenges or obstacles and proactively set measures to minimize the possible impact on running a business
