Job Description
Create, follow up, and update time schedules for new and ongoing projects.
Report any deviation from the approved time plan to the department head and project manager.
Control and monitor total project expenditure, including verifying and checking invoices and claims from suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure proper recording.
Provide planning and cost controlling support for all projects, including variation reporting, milestone progress monitoring, and invoice preparation processes.
Manage project financial activities, including monitoring, purchase requests creation, and follow-up.
Perform commercial review of subcontractors’ quotations for service agreement preparation.
Ensure effective project implementation by utilizing project management systems (e.g., OpenProject) to create WBS and monitor purchases, invoicing, and deliveries up to project closure.
Prepare monthly progress and movement reports for management review, ensuring timely updates to the project manager.
Coordinate with the supply chain management team to resolve project issues, ensuring on-time delivery and completion.
Prepare monthly costing and expenditure reports to ensure projects remain within budget.
Undertake any additional ad-hoc duties as required by management.
Job Requirements
Education: B.Sc. in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
Experience: 1 To 3 years in a similar position (Planning / Cost Control).
Strong technical background in project cost planning, scheduling, and reporting.
Solid knowledge of Primavera P6 and other project planning platforms/software.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
