Job Description
- Position: Design Lead Architect
- Company: Kings Developments
- Location: West Cairo
- Kings Developments is seeking a visionary and technically strong Design Lead Architect to lead and control the full architectural and interior design direction of the company’s residential and mixed-use developments.
- The role is responsible for creating, developing, amending, and governing all architectural, façade, and interior designs, while ensuring full alignment with structural and MEP systems from concept stage through execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the architectural and interior design vision across our mix use project. •
- Create and develop architectural concepts, layouts, and space planning.
- Design and develop façade concepts aligned with the company’s premium positioning.
- Lead interior design direction for residential units, common areas, and commercial spaces.
- Amend and optimize plans based on management direction, authority requirements, cost control, and technical coordination.
- Produce and/or supervise high-quality architectural and interior 3D visuals.
- Ensure full coordination between Architectural, Structural, and MEP disciplines.
- Review and resolve clashes before IFC issuance.
- Coordinate directly with structural and MEP consultants to preserve design intent.
- Review and approve shop drawings prior to site execution.
- Conduct site visits to ensure execution quality and design compliance.
- Maintain design consistency and continuous improvement across projects.
Job Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture
Experience:
- 5–8 years of professional experience in architectural design.
- Experience in real estate development, mixed-use, or high-end residential projects preferred.
- Experience handling both architecture and interior design is required.
Technical Skills:
- Advanced 3D visualization skills (3ds Max, Lumion, Enscape, D5, or similar).
- Strong façade detailing and interior detailing capabilities.
- Solid understanding of MEP and Structural coordination principles.
- Knowledge of Egyptian building codes and authority requirements.
Professional & Leadership Skills:
- Strong portfolio demonstrating concept, façade, and interior projects.
- Ability to lead and guide junior architects and technical team members.
- Strong communication and consultant coordination skills.
- High attention to detail and design consistency.
- Ability to manage deadlines and multiple project phases efficiently.
