Job Description
Technical expeditor role will be responsible for monitoring the flow of work from supply procurement to actual product deliveries. You will identify process gaps and consult with management to determine solutions. Maintaining a clear and open line of communication is crucial in this position. Success in this role will be demonstrated by delivering seamless execution strategies to ensure the timely accomplishment of projects and meet production and delivery targets.
Job Requirements
- Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies through the production process to ensure timely completion of orders.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve material shortages and expedite shipments.
- Monitor inventory levels and work closely with the purchasing department to ensure adequate stock availability.
- Identify and resolve issues that may disrupt the production schedule, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of material deliveries, production schedules, and inventory levels.
- Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure that all materials meet the required specifications and standards.
- Establish, coordinate, and monitor project plans to ensure that goals and objectives are met
- Analyze data and trends to identify potential risks, opportunities, and solutions
- Monitor progress, analyze results, and adjust plans as needed
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Create and present progress and performance reports to management
- Provide guidance and support to team members
- 2+ years of experience in an expediting or supply chain coordination role.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on collaboration.
