Job Description
- Responsible for work processes that affect success of own role and have a moderate impact on the performance of the department.
- Make telephone calls to existing customers on a regular pre-defined call cycle to secure new business.
- Act as Tele Sales customers’ main contact for DHL.
- Build a strong client relationship to ensure that the account performs and grows to its maximum potential, reducing attrition rate and minimizing opportunities for competitors to gain business.
- Open new accounts and ensure they trade profitably.
- Act as Tele Sales customers’ main contact for DHL, responding and satisfying their sales and post-sales requirements.
- Build a strong client relationship to ensure that the account performs and grows to its maximum potential.
- Manage a portfolio of customers via telephone.
- Liaise closely with Sales Channels
- Complete daily and weekly reports to measure individual and department effectiveness and provide figures showing weekly productivity of the department.
- Adhere to regional standards on profit margins and discount guidelines.
- Any deviation from the tariffs requires management agreement Work under limited supervision with periodic review.
- Use independent judgment and determine the best course of action through the interpretation of policies and procedures.
- May provide general guidance/direction, training, and technical assistance to lower-level service, production, and support personnel
- Senior service, production, or support roles highly experienced in the area of responsibility.
- Performs all of the standard and some specialized more complex aspects of the function.
Job Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in related area of responsibility.
- Bachelor degree in Business administration or other related field.
- Fluent English language.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Thorough knowledge of tasks and responsibilities.
- Effectively applies skills in accomplishing tasks.
