Job Description
- Conduct primary and secondary user research.
- Meet clients to gather information about their requirements and to find out what needs researching, designing or usability testing.
- Be involved in sketching, prototyping and on occasion user testing, before passing the design onto the development team.
- Understand qualitative/quantitative research methods and Conduct and evaluate quantitative and qualitative research.
- Put users at the center of a design to make it simple, easy to use and good looking.
- Be confident in your presentation skills in order to present the stages of the design development to business users.
- Work closely within a multidisciplinary team, including web developers and programmers.
- Conduct primary and secondary user research.
- Perform market and ethnographic research.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate research topics.
- Plan and implement user research strategies and methodologies.
- Advocate research findings to diverse audiences through written and oral presentations.
- Perform usability studies with consumers.
- Ask questions, gather data, and analyze data.
- Use a diverse set of UX research tools.
Job Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in design and/or computer science and a minimum of 5-7 years’ UI/UX design & Research experience for digital products or services. (Must)
- A portfolio of professional UI/UX Research work for both web and mobile platforms. (Must)
- Good knowledge of Usability Factors in Human Computer Interaction.
- Working knowledge of the following technologies and software:
- Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, illustrator, XD)+ Figma. (Must)
- Prototype Tools ( Must)
- A mixture of creative and technical skills
- Excellent teamworking skills
- Verbal communication skills, as you present your research findings and the reasons behind your design decisions
- Strong written communication ability
- Creativity and innovation, to come up with new ideas
- Enthusiasm for design and technology
- Working knowledge of the following technologies and software: HTML, CSS (SCSS), iOS, Android ( Must).
- Fluent In English (Spoken & Written). (Must)
- Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
