Job Description
- Participates in preparing supplier’s performance evaluation reports from the Quality Surveillance point of view.
- Participates in supplier’s quality audits.
- Performs supplier’s quality control program verification.
- Reviews supplier’s prepared documents in conformance with industry codes and standards, written procedures and specified requirements including quality control and Inspection Test Plans (ITPs).
- Completes the minimum supplier quality surveillance data sheet in the Material Requisition for Quotation (MRQ).
- Provides the necessary procedural / technical guidance and develops career development plans for the section personnel.
- Provides direction and technical support to Project Supplier Quality Surveillance representatives in the supplier’s performance evaluation and quality surveillance activities.
- Ensures the full implementation of the Company manuals, procedures and departmental work instructions in accordance with the requirements of the Company Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety Management systems.
- Ensures the awareness and implementation of the Quality Control programs and Quality Assurance procedures for the department activities within the framework of the overall Company Quality Management System.
- Ensures the full awareness and implementation of the applicable requirements of the Company Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety Management systems.
Job Requirements
- B.Sc. in engineering with minimum 5 years of job relevant experience including experience in the NDT inspection and quality surveillance activities in the field of oil and gas or industrial field.
- Wide knowledge of Company flow of work, manuals, procedures, departmental work instructions and Company Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety Management Systems requirements.
- Wide knowledge of quality surveillance activities associated with material and equipment procured for Company projects.
- Overall awareness of the requirements of relevant procurement bylaws, regulations, codes and standards.
