Job Description
ABOUT THIS ROLE
We are looking to hire a skilled WordPress developer to create, maintain and optimize existing websites. You will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development including the implementation of WordPress themes and plugins as well as site integration and security updates.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and develop company websites and online store
- Manage and secure all company social media accounts
- Protect our consumer’s data on the website through encryption, secure data storage and other necessary means
- Extract ongoing reports from the website to identify traffic analysis
- Develop new strategies, programs/software and any related IT procedures to increase efficiency and enhance workflow to help run the business smoother
- Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance as well as perform any troubleshooting needed to diagnose and resolve problems
- Manage the company website performing the regular maintenance needed
Job Requirements
- Computer Science degree or related field.
- Strong experience in E-Commerce Industry using WooCommerce is a must.
- 2+ years of experience in Front-end & Back-end development required (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP, MySQL, etc.)
- Demonstrable skills with a strong portfolio are a must.
- Experience in customizing themes and plugins.
- Knowledge and or experience working with API.
- Experience with managing servers through cPanel and SSH
- Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them.
- Strong ability to focus on end-user experience
- Bonus qualifications: Analytics, Conversion Tracking, Google Tag Manager, Data Analysis, Facebook Ads, Google Ads
- Takes responsibility and ownership for their tasks.
- Highly detail-oriented and understands deadlines.
- Proficient in written and spoken English.
