About the role
Responsible for documentation of process and procedures linked to QR and Regulatory Policies that set and support the implementation of Standards and Procedures that come under the functions within the scope of Ground Operations/Services that include Passenger Handling, Baggage Handling, Aircraft ground handling, Aircraft loading, Load Control, Aircraft Fueling, Aircraft de-/anti-icing based on approved manuals and documentation together with Policy and Procedures Manager and/or approved Ground Operations Manual (GOM) with Senior Manager Safety.
Key accountabilities include:
·In line with the company expansion for new stations ensure support for access to relevant QR manuals to comply within the scope of Ground operations/services.
·Update manuals using the corporate documentation management system (CDMS).
·Update Type 3 documentation relevant to the assigned department manuals.
·Consistent checks on updates related to internal/external publications/regulations and issue Bulletins where applicable.
·Responsible for monitoring government/immigration regulations/notifications and publishing relevant network wide airport bulletins to avoid fines and legal consequences to the airline.
·Responsible for monitoring regulations / standards and industry recommended practices and publishing relevant network wide airport bulletins to ensure compliance with relevant safety and operational requirements.
·Responsible for monitoring IATA annual rules and regulations (IATA-AHM, DGR, IGOM, PSC, BSM, LAR, IEnvA, AIRMP, US-DOT, EU part 385, etc.) to ensure strict adherence and compliance as QR being IATA member.
·Responsible for monitoring and reviewing IATA annual rules and regulations (IATA-AHM, DGR, IGOM, to ensure strict adherence and compliance as QR being IATA member and access SAE, ACAP where applicable.
·Participates on IATA working groups, namely Ground Operations Standards (GOS).
·Participates in working groups within QR and relevant stakeholders to ensure Ground Services passenger and baggage policy and procedures are aligned within QR.
·Responsible for follow-up, review, proofing and design of GS stationery / proofing relating GOM to ensure common policy network wide.
·Monitoring the environmental applicable regulations e.g. live animals related regulations and ensure full in liaison with QR cargo team to ensure documented procedures are in adherence at all times.
·Support Team to GS passenger manifest verification team in case of emergency
·Review industry standards and norms and ensure that they are adhered to with respect to passenger and baggage handling related issues.
·Represents the first level of SME for all related GSM/GOM enquiries

Qualifications
About you
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:
·Relevant College or University qualification
·Minimum 4 years of job-related experience
·Excellent communication skills with fluency in English language both written and spoken.
·Experience within an airline ground service or GHA operation environment
