Job Description
- Directs the resources and activities of CFM to support the HSE programs by providing advice and guidance to the Company’s Senior Management.
- Continually maintains an appropriate level of awareness, knowledge, and preparedness across CFM to create a culture that prioritizes effective HSE and balances overall associated costs.
- Develops and reviews internal HSE policies and practices to ensure they are updated and appropriate; conducts hazard and risk assessments and does necessary amendments or develops new recommendations from these assessments.
- Serves as CFM Group’s expert within the field of HSE when called upon to address regulatory agency compliance issues, third-party safety & liability consultants, and subcontractor representatives.
- Responsible for the staffing and directing CFM Corporate HSE Department, including the supporting of all projects safety representatives and staff.
- Provides periodic reports, as well as HSE-related results and updates to the Senior Management.
- Assists project teams in investigation of all project incidents (Recordable Incidents, Near Miss, and First Aid) and ensure proper records are completed and submitted.
- Assists in the implementation of corrective actions as it relates to any incident and ensures “lessons learned” are communicated throughout the CFM company and are incorporated into the programs, if necessary.
- Actively participates in the scheduling of safety meetings across the Company to review HSE performance and policies.
- Conducts regular site visits/inspections/audits.
- Responsible for public liability insurance policy renewals, claims investigations, and closure.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Sciences, or Engineering
- Minimum 6 years experience in HSE in the Facility Management industry is a must.
- Certified IOSH, OSHA 30 Hours, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 9001 Internal Auditor and OHS Specialist (NEBOSH is a Plus)
- Very strong communication skills
- Proficiency in English is a must
