Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Manage and develop Architecture engineering department to produce the required design drawings starting from Concept/schematic design, up to Tender /Construction drawings & package.
Coordinate with other departments through the subsequent design stages.
Drawings & Submissions’ quality-control review.
Follows up the implementation of any necessary changes to the designs or drawings.
Ensuring that the architectural design and final drawings are accordance to Architectural codes & computer-aided design & BIM standards.
Carry out meetings with the management team members.
Managing the design process using program / time awareness and technical expertise.
Assisting in preparation of technical proposals.
Responsible for accountable on the design quality and design team productivity.
Reviewing designs according to life safety codes.
Review projects’ Specifications & BOQs to assure compatibility with Architecture drawings & package.
Preparing Manhour estimation as per Company’ KPIs.

Experience and Qualification:

+12 years of Experience
B.Sc. degree in Architectural Engineering from a reputable University.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
Optional: Professional Certificate in Project Management (PRMG, PMP,IPMA).
Previous experience in high reputed Consultant Engineering Company.
Previous experience in different type of projects (Hospitals, Hospitality, Residential, Administration buildings, Mixed Use Towers & Developments).
Proven work experience in Design management.
Organizational and communication skills, including multitasking and time-management.
Familiarity with quality control procedures.
Optional: Good experience in Architecture Shop Drawings.

Skills:

Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Comprehensive knowledge of buildings design standards and codes in Saudi Arabia and Egypt.
Motivating and encouraging design team members.
Capable of defining and meeting realistic timelines.
Attentive listener to team members and capable of resolving any issues or conflicts.
Encourage creativity and able to delegate tasks and set deadlines.
