Job Description
Technical Office Engineer / Supervisor
Job Purpose:
- Supporting the sales team by providing the customers with the first technical level of support within service level agreements ensuring product installations, and different firefighting programs implementation.
- Monitors customer requirements and conveys them to the organization to guarantee the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Job Duties:
- Plays a primary role in addressing clients needs by acting as the company's initial technical interface with customers and consultants in different activities that include the presentation of company products and the tackling of technical issues.
- Positions the company for prime opportunities by providing consultants with the organization's capabilities and solutions in implementing different firefighting systems, thus to be approved in their vendor list and to improve our ranking among their recommendations.
- Support the Sales staff to identify Clients’ needs, So they can help the clients to define the best solution and to select the right products and services.
- Develops presentations and participates in product demonstrations that accurately depict the benefits of products and services.
- Conducts technical assessments and translates client needs, issues and concerns into comprehensive technical solutions that the company is capable to implement.
- Check pre-installation requirements and site preparations for new system installation ( Fire Alarm , Water Systems, Gas Suppression or Foam System)
- Support installation teams in any technical advice during the implementation of certain solutions.
- Liaison with consultants to understand technical details of products and design amendments, communicate information back to sales.
- Review construction drawing, Perform cost analysis and prepare reports of the actual cost of materials used in construction compared to the expected one.
- obtain different price offers to achieve cost effectiveness, prepare time schedules for each phase in the construction.
- follow up on the implementation of projects and provide management with updated reports, compare actual work with time schedules and cost estimates.
- Provide installation team with shop drawings for the projects, and deliver the as-built drawing to the customer at the end of each project.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- B.SC. of Engineering “ Mechanical or Electrical will be preferred”
- 5+ years of Exp. in the same field.
- Auto CAD knowledge will be an asset
- Strong Communication Skills and Project Management Ability.
- PMP will be an added value.
- Team player, dynamic, initiator, and goal-oriented.
