Job Description
Purpose of the position:
- Conduct psychological testing and facilitate the measurement of the impact of MH activities in MSF Maadi Clinic
Accountabilities:
- Use psychometric scales in accord with MSF Maadi Clinic MH protocol
- Scheduling psychometric consultations according to MSF MH protocol and ensure high-quality testing environment
- Collaborate closely with MH clinicians, MH supervisor and MHAM in organizing psychometric activities
- Organize, manage, update, databases related to the scores of the different MH scales used in Maadi MSF Clinic
- Welcome, inform, get consent, brief and debrief patients about psychometric activities, if needed with cultural mediator support
- Proactively contribute to improving the process of psychological measurement and assessment of the impact of MH activities
- Send to Mental Health Supervisor and Mental Health Activity Manager monthly report on psychometric activities and psychometric outcomes
- Collaborate with Data Encoder, Data Manager, Epidemiologist in order to ensure an effective data col-lection and data analysis process
- Participate and provide input to the Mental Health team meetings and case discussions
- Ensure complete documentation of all cases new and follow up (group and individual sessions) in MSF forms and database
- Actively participate in all meetings and training planned in the project
- Inform the line manager about problems, ask for support
- Availability to work in different places according to the needs of the MSF target population
- Implement MH activities according to MSF standards and procedures
- Ensure that all patient information is kept confidential
Job Requirements
Required Profile:
Education:
- Bachelor of Psychology
- Specific and trainings on psychometric Technics and scales are a strong as-set
- Specific training on psychometric data collection and analysis (Excel, SPSS) software is strong asset
- Master degree or diploma in clinical psychology is an asset
Experience:
- 1 years of experience in clinical psychology
- Overall 2-3 year experience in psychometric activities
Languages:
- Proficiency in English and Egyptian/Middle Eastern Arabic is essential
Knowledge:
- Requested high skills in MS office: Word, Outlook and Excel in particular
