What is the job of a restaurant manager:

The restaurant manager is responsible for maintaining the restaurant’s revenues and providing high quality through proper operation and maintaining quality standards. The job requires strong management skills and experience and the ability to manage the work team from the presentation side as well as the equipment for the restaurant. The restaurant manager also employs the appropriate competencies with set schedules. Work and emphasize compliance with health and safety rules and the ability to deal with customer complaints. It also motivates employees to provide the best customer service.

Job duties as a restaurant manager:

  • Coordinate the work inside the restaurant in the external and internal parts of the restaurant on a daily basis.
  • Supervising providing distinguished service and increasing customer satisfaction.
  • Carefully handle customer complaints and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Regular review of production quality and improvement of sales volume.
  • Supervising employee appointments and scheduling breaks and vacations.
  • Evaluate employee performance and provide feedback to improve productivity.
  • Implement company policies.
  • Follow up on needs for tools and products for operations and report requests periodically.
  • Supervising the application of health and safety rules and preventive measures.
  • Improving the mental image of customers and providing suggestions to develop services and gain customer loyalty.
  • Managing operational budgets and defining measures to help reduce expenses.
  • Generate detailed reports on income and expenses periodically.
  • Supervising the restaurant's promotion and preparing for various events.
  • Provide suggestions for different marketing methods such as discount offers and ads on social networks.
  • Training of new and existing employees to improve customer service.
  • Implementing plans and policies that maintain the restaurant's reputation and increase customer loyalty.

Job Requirements
