Job Description
ITS is looking for an Oracle SUN Engineer to support ITS customers over GCC countries from Global Delivery center.
- The ideal candidate will poses strong written and verbal communication skills, a demonstrated commitment to customer service and quality delivery, and must demonstrate the ability to meet the operational requirements of a complex process-driven environment.
- Responsible for performing the remote trouble-shooting,
- Configuration and day-to-day tasks for managed services customers associated with ensuring the smooth, reliable, and efficient operation of all environments (development, testing, validation, and production).
- The support Engineer is also required to work closely with other support engineers and DBA team members, ability to work 24x7 to support customer after working hours.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunication, Computer science.
- 2-5 years of experience in the same field.
- Strong experience in managing SUN/Oracle servers running Solaris 9, 10, and 11.
- Strong experience in Symantec/Veritas products “NetBackup, Infoscale".
- Good experience in Linux OS.
