Job Description
- Supports the monthly close process by reviewing financial statements
- Supporting analysis for accuracy and consistency; prepares additional analysis to explain material actual versus budget variances; proposes correcting journal entries by closely collaborating with accounting staff.
- Summarizes financial results by evaluating areas of concern and recommending solutions to Senior Leadership.
- Implements financial and operational metrics in order to provide financial oversight of the partnership
- Coordinates with Revenue Cycle, Contracting, and physician payment teams to estimate and monitor performance.
- Communicates variances, monitors, and helps resolve issues.
- Closely collaborates with the joint board and advisory committees regarding monthly financial performance, payments, and annual budgets; active participation in joint board meetings as needed and takes action on board recommendations
- Designs and implements new financial processes in collaboration with the Accounting team.
- Prepares the annual operating budget and the strategic long-range plan.
- Prepare ad-hoc analysis to facilitate executive decision making e.g. productivity benchmarking, profitability analysis, financial planning, etc.
- Any other duties which may be assigned from time to time.
Job Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in hospital management and medical field.
- Knowledge of the hospital information system ( HIS) software is a must.
