Job Description
- Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues
- Administrate Fax machines and printers
- Perform or delegate regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection and fail over procedures
- Lead desktop and help desk support efforts, making sure all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions
- Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software.
- Search for new IT solutions
- Communicate with suppliers regarding new solutions technical specifications
- Prepare reports for the IT Manager
- Perform other duties as assigned by the IT Manager
- Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems.
- Configure and resolve Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), issues and other systems, and complete the required troubleshooting
- Manage network servers, Desktops, Laptops and technology tools
- Set up accounts and workstations (Active directory)
- Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements
- Troubleshoot issues and outages
- Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls
- Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations, especially backup (Veeam Backup), and maintain Virtual machines (ESXI).
Job Requirements
- University degree in (computer science, computer and information technology, information technology, Communication Engineering).
- Knowledge of CCNA, Operating systems, antivirus, backup system, emails, windows server, Layer 3 switches, Surveillance system
- Very good command of English (reading, writing, listening)
- Experience in supporting end users on a corporate network; specifically support involving Switches, Subnets, Routers, VLAN's, DNS, Network Shares, Network Storage, File/Print services, Directory Services, Etc. is preferred.
