Job Description
Summary
The solutions manger is expected to spearhead end to end pre-sales, lead requirement gathering and design sessions with client and take ownership for new products/offerings.
Responsibilities
The Solutions Manager owns the end-to-end solutions consulting and COE processes
* Pre-Sales
A. Client/partner presentations/case studies
- Leading/supporting team on building client/partner presentations.
- Performing client/partner presentations.
- Participate in technical discussions with prospects.
- Anchor technical proof-of-concepts.
B. Leading and supporting team in proposal preparations
- Anchor technical responses and technical solutions during RFP/RFI.
- Reviewing proposals and effort estimations created by team.
C. Supporting sales team in creating value proposition
*Delivery
D. Handover of knowledge (scope and approach) gained during pre-sales to project team
E. Business requirement gathering with client: Leading/supporting team in business requirement gathering discussions with client
F. Solution designing
* New product/offering development
G. Conceptualization of idea and creation of blueprint for product/offering MVP and full-fledged version
H. Identification of Product/offering requirements/feature i. Supporting technical team on product/offering development
J. Validating features of product/offering
K. Supporting sales team on GTM strategies and actions on product/offering MVP and full-fledged version
L. Presentations for new product/offerings
Job Requirements
What we are looking for:
- Proven capability and experience in area of solutions consulting
- Incumbent should primarily be a Techno-Business candidate
- Should have exposure to the BFSI / Telecom / Retail domain.
- Overall relevant experience 6 to 10 years
- Experience in SAS products is highly desirable
- To talk in industry-specific lingo to users in the industry to understand the pain points in their business (Customer Management)
- Basis understanding, elicit Customer Management related challenges in Business, stated/unstated impact and value if solution is provided
- Map the SAS Business Solutions to address their requirements
- Address business as well as Technology queries raised by potential & existing clients
- Experience in designing solutions and Architectures
- Experience in leading/developing new products/offerings
- Experience on delivering on the Cloud would be an added advantage
- Good understanding of Database concepts and experience in any one RDBMS
- Should understand business requirements and translate it into Software/Solution Mapping
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent aptitude
- Business degree educated or equivalent experience
