Job Description
International Turnkey Systems is looking for a Datacap Specialist to join our growing ECM Professional Services Practice, to provide best-in-class scanning, classification and indexing technology services to our enterprise customers through:
- Working within a project team, design and develop IBM Datacap solutions for external clients
- Install and configure Datacap software that meets design specifications using specified programming methodologies and coding standards for external client projects
- Contribute to all areas of the System Life Cycle, including analysis, design, code & unit test, debug, and system test
- Install, configure and maintain IBM Datacap 9.x Platform
- Install, configure and maintain IBM FileNet P8 5.x Platform
- Install, configure and maintain Datacap and FileNet Solutions with Optimized Business continuity capabilities High Availability, Load Balancing, and Disaster Recovery
- Coordinates activities under the guidance of the assigned Project Manager
- Utilize appropriate debugging and troubleshooting techniques and tools
- Execute test procedures to ensure product quality
- Develop technical specifications as required by projects
- Participate in code, design reviews and assist in conducting code reviews
- Provide written project status to internal and external client management
Job Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in developing robust software solutions
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years of Administration experience in IBM FileNet Content Platform Engine, Content Navigator, Case Manager, Datacap
- At least 1 year of experience with IBM Datacap is required.
- Experience with other capture products (e.g. OpenText Captiva) is a plus
- Current Datacap 8.x. and/or 9.x certification is a plus
- Experience developing web services, user interfaces, and database connections using .NET, C#, Java or JavaScript, and ODBC/JDBC technologies is a plus
- Experience with the IBM ECM (FileNet P8) product suite and/or other ECM products (e.g. OpenText Documentum) is mandatory.
