Job Description
- Follow-up maintenance services of all Medical equipment’s.
- inspection and testing of medical equipment, follow the manufacturers' specifications in the event of a breakdown in the hardware to connect to the agent and the follow-up guidance
- Keep records of maintenance, repair, and required updates of equipment, Prepare Technical Reports of status of all Medical Equipment’s.
- Explain or demonstrate correct operation instructions or preventive maintenance of medical equipment to Radiology technicians.
- Examine medical equipment or branch's structural environment and check for proper use of equipment to protect patients and staff from hazards and to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Request for Offers spare parts prices if there is no comprehensive maintenance contract of spare parts and the registration receipt to ensure high quality and less expensive
- Supervise of the Devices installation and coordination between applicator and technicians and doctors
- Contribute to develop medical maintenance standard operating procedures.
- Study technical manuals or attend training sessions provided by equipment manufacturers to maintain current knowledge.
- Inform Call center in case of breakdown of medical equipment to postpone/cancel the appointments of patients
- Compute power and space requirements for installing medical equipment and install units as per manufacturer's' specifications.
- Examine the new Spare parts of Medical devices to ensure that is suitable.
- Keeping and controlling maintenance tools, stores and equipment.
- Monitoring and controlling maintenance costs concerning spare parts and warranty contracts.
- Follow up with Maintenance companies the preventive Maintenance process according to planned schedule.
- Monitor to check Misuse of Medical equipment’s.
- Prepare daily reports of Number of Malfunctions, Number of Devices in Maintenance process & Warranty period and spare parts on a yearly basis.
- Follow the Quality, Infection Control, Safety and Environmental policies and regulations
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of or Biomedical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- 1-3 years of working experience within same or similar fields
- Males only
- Ability to travel to upper Egypt, Delta
