Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Facilities Manager to join our team. As a Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operation of our company's physical infrastructure. This role requires excellent organizational and leadership abilities, as well as a strong background in facilities management.


Responsibilities


Develop and implement a comprehensive facilities management strategy

Oversee the maintenance and repair of all company facilities, including buildings, grounds, and equipment

Manage and coordinate vendors and contractors for various facility-related projects

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding safety and environmental standards

Develop and maintain a preventive maintenance program to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment and systems

Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any potential safety hazards or maintenance issues

Manage the facility budget and monitor expenses to ensure cost-effective operations

Implement and maintain effective security protocols and systems to protect company assets and ensure the safety of employees and visitors

Coordinate facility-related projects, such as renovations or relocations, and oversee all aspects of planning, execution, and post-project evaluations


Job Requirements

Skills RequirementsBachelor's degree in facilities management, engineering, business administration, or a related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management, preferably in a leadership roleStrong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and securityFamiliarity with local building codes and regulationsExcellent organizational and multitasking abilitiesStrong leadership and team management skillsEffective written and verbal communication skillsProficient computer skills, including MS Office and facilities management softwareDemonstrated ability to work independently and make sound decisionsProven problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesFlexibility to work outside of normal business hours, if neededProfessional certification in facilities management, such as CFM or FMP, is a plus
