Job Description
- To be responsible for the revenue generation of exhibition stand and sponsorship sales to achieve agreed sales targets.
- Maintain regular contact and visit existing & potential clients to ensure current and new business is developed.
- Discovers new leads for segment of business to target.
- Travel to events and client site as needed to contact current clients and develop relationships with potential clients.
- Achieve Sales and Sponsorship targets.
- Oversee and support all aspects of delivery of products sold, to ensure top tier delivery.
- Maintain accurate customer and prospect information in Salesforce, in line with internal practices and expectations. This includes active maintenance of sales pipeline opportunity stages so that the pipeline is a true and accurate indicator of prospects statuses; utilizes pipeline reports to provide sales forecasts to management.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience on a B2B or B2C sales team, venue, or organizational sponsorship sales, with a preferred background in engaging advertising/sponsorship agencies or through direct client contact.
- Experience managing multiple customers and maintaining high energy sales.
- Relationship management experience including maintaining customer connection and communication.
- Ability to identify and pursue cross and up-selling opportunities.
- Ability to ask probing questions to proactively handle and respond to customer objections.
- Good level of spoken and written English
