Job Description
Minimum 4 years of experience in writing & turning Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
• Well conversant with Oracle Developer tools (Forms Builder, Reports )
• Analysis, designs , develops and test implement and maintain Oracle PL/ SQL packages, procedures functions & triggers & other functionalities
- Fixes and develops changes to applications to meet functional and technical designs following best practices and development standards and guidelines.
- Create\Modify Oracle Forms.
- Debugs applications and ensures specifications are met.
- Participates in Backlog grooming, sprint planning and Daily stand-up meetings.
- Prepares technical documentation on application specifications.
- Translate business requirements into technical design.
- Ensure that all coding complies with Enterprise Standards and adheres to development guidelines.
- Ensure that all assigned deliverable's are completed on time and with impeccable quality.
- Provide timely support in troubleshooting defects and providing resolutions
- Actively participate in team meetings and collaborate with other team members to carry out project deliverable's.
- Engages with business analysts and stakeholders to understand functional requirements, and contributes to completion of functional specifications.
- Adheres to coding standards and other standard work as laid out for applications development.
- Responds promptly to customer needs; takes a customer-centric approach to problem solving; solicits customer feedback to improve service; responds to requests for service and assistance; meets commitments; manages customer expectations.
Job Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Forms 10g and above.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL
- Good understanding of databases
- Excellent technical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good understanding of Performance tuning
- Ability to evaluate and analyze coding problems and develop solutions within existing parameters
- Understanding of relational databases (tables, views, indexes, functions, and replication)
- Understanding of development tools and processes, source control, versioning tools like Oracle Forms, SQL Developer,TOAD
- Good knowledge of Oracle apex is preferred
