Job Description

He is responsible for supplying the organization with products and services in a way that suits the institution’s budget and develops various strategies to find buying opportunities at reasonable prices and appropriate quality. He also communicates with suppliers to reach the best prices. And products.

Job duties for the procurement manager profession:-

  • Use appropriate strategies to purchase the needs of the organization at reasonable prices.
  • Discover suppliers initiate contracting and create commercial and organizational partnerships.
  • Negotiate with vendors to secure quality and favorable price terms.
  • Approval of requesting the necessary goods and services from the various departments.
  • Finalize purchase ordering and delivery details.
  • Examine and test existing contracts and ensure contract renewal dates.
  • Follow up on requirements and submit reports on purchases and requirements.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure clarity of requirements and budgets.
  • Building and developing the procurement department, developing procurement plans, and formulating policies and procedures.
  • Presenting the needs of each section of the raw materials and setting the appropriate budget.
  • Building and developing an annual plan needs the necessary raw materials.
  • A constant search for new suppliers of raw materials used in manufacturing or operation.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
  • Making a periodic plan at the end of each year and updating the policies and procedures.
  • Building the various structures and models used in the Procurement Department.
  • Maintain internal and external purchase requisition files, quotations, and contracts.
  • Continuous communication with warehouse management regarding stock shortage, extent of store capacity, and stock turnover rate movement.
  • Preparing the incoming orders from the different departments and sending them to the approved suppliers and following them up until receiving them.
  • Review suppliers' offers and respond to them positively or not.
  • Monitoring the changes that appear in the raw material prices periodically.
  • Contact the party requesting the goods and follow up the required materials in a timely and safe manner

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree.
  • Maximum age of 38 years.
  • 5-7 years of experience.
  • Very good communication skills.
  • Excellent leadership Skills.
  • Should have experience in FMCG or food industry
  • To know good dealings with suppliers.
  • practical experience in procurement. 
  • Experience in data collection and analysis procedures.
  • Able to work under stress.
  • Computer Skills: Professional user of Microsoft Office Package.
