Job Description
- Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to representatives of the owner or developer, including administrative staff, workers, or clients.
- Plan, schedule, or coordinate MEP project activities to meet deadlines.
- Review Coordination between architecture, structure, MEP, HVAC drawings
- Review the compatibility of tender documents (drawings, specifications, and bill of quantities).
- Take part in the project management review and risk management review
- Responsible for the preparation of project-related method of statements.
- Manage and review shop drawing sub metals .
- Manage and review material approval request and method of the statement according to project specs.
- Manage and review quantity survey sub metals .
- Prepare technical material sub metals .
- Check and review the main contractor invoice and another subcontractor.
- Attend progress meetings, discuss and suggest technical proposals
- Managing the cost analysis and cost control of site activities
- Maintaining organized and detailed project records
- Follow-up with subcontractors during negotiations and offer award or subcontract terms, performance and payments
- Work in conjunction with the estimation teams in the preparation of tenders.
- Manage the organization and planning of the site team activities in order to determine the short-term priorities of the work area and maximize quality, efficiency, and continuity.
- Deal with complex and difficult customer demands.
- Responsible for the Tenders Technical Submission.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
- English language is a must
- Experience in Primavera/Microsoft project - Autocad
- Microsoft Office
- Experience between 6-10 years in MEP companies.
- Design skills in HVAC/ Electrical / Plumbing / Firefighting, AutoCAD skills, and shop drawings preparation, preparation of BOQ, Materials Take off, and negotiation skills.
